Hello everyone,

First of all, this thread was very helpful to me and there was no single day when I did not check this thread. Below is my complete timeline.

Essential Non-Healthcare May 27
BIL: 21 Feb
Medical Passed: 21 Feb (Linked same day) and then changed to do not need on June 3 and then changed to passed on July 25
Biometric Done: 23 Feb
AOR: 22 Feb
Criminality: In Progress (It was passed earlier and then changed from Passed to In Progress after GU on June 17) and then passed on August 17 with a Ghost Update
Info Sharing: Completed
Eligibility: Passed on July 25 (No Ghost Update for this one though)
Security: Passed on August 10 with a Ghost Update
ADR in review from April 11

PR Approval email on August 19.
PR Portal Credential on August 22.
E-COPR on September 2

My file was touched first time on July 20 (based on GCMS) and before July 20 I had only criminality in progress and Security & Eligibility were not started.

My primary office was Whitehorse through out. The secondary office was Sydney first and then it was changed to Calgary after passing my eligibility.

Thanks everyone. I hope everyone gets their PR as soon as possible.
Congratulations! Am happy for you.

Hello everyone,

I'm confused.
My family did upfront medical exams last October and all show as passed in the CBSA notes that I received today. The medicals are still valid. Nevertheless, last week I received a request for medicaIs for my two outland dependents. Is this common? I raised a webform a couple of days ago, but no reply. Anybody else in the same boat? TIA

Yes, medical results must be valid for outland applicants when their application is approved. Plus the officer can ask for a new medical exam at any time regardless of its validity.
After a recent update in the procedure, inland applicants are exempt from doing a new medical exam if they have already done it before.

Do we need indian pcc for tr to pr?
You need PCC from any country you stayed for more than 6 months after you turned 18 years old including your home country.
Canada is the only exception. You don't need to provide RCMP unless being directly asked to do.

I got it. Thank you.
My husband, my son and I have applied as inland applicants/dependents but are in the process of leaving Canada for about half a year. So, do we become outland applicants then too and have to do new medicals or is this different? Sorry for all the questions.

No problem. It depends on the officer's decision. When you receive portal, you will be asked to provide your country of resident. If it's outside Canada, the officer may ask for medical exam before sending the confirmation of permanent residency.

FYI -- online services are still down at IRCC per their Twitter account 15 minutes ago ( I can get to website but can't sign-in to account):
IRCC

Why not? They'll enjoy their long weekend
I've been reading the tweets, the airports are chaos today for people waiting for their eTA.
Offices are not working because of this.
And they've just recently discovered the server issue :)

it is exactly like this in these departments, trust me. If there's a long weekend coming up, and say from mid-Dec onwards for Christmas break, they go on vacation mode. Like they will be in office/work from home but its almost equivalent to being on vacation.

and earlier atleast you had some ethical hardworking ppl in the office, now with open borders, anyone is entering Canada so it is affecting quality of service across various departments and organizations <-- as in the type of employees now with open borders
