August 2022 Citizenship Applications

My application (paper) was delivered on Aug 8th 2022. I still haven't got the AOR. Should I call them?

Did you get any update from them?
i would call the call centre and see if they have any notes ( sometimes they have no more info that we the public has which is weird).

If you still haven’t received your AOR, your application may be

• taking longer for us to review due to COVID-19 ( covid is so over so I do not believe this excuse anymore lol)
• incomplete and on its way back to you (You should check your mail box or check if you have incoming mail to your address from IRCC but this may just be a US thing not sure if Canada post provides this service)
• going through further review before we start processing it (hopefully this is whats happening and you get an AOR soon)

Hey @harrysummer, just noticed we are both from Vancouver, submitted Single applications on the same date, got AOR and In Progress on the same dates as well, only yours is Online and mine is Paper.

Thus, could be a good case-study on Paper vs. Online applications. Good luck mate!

Can someone tell IRCC to stop sending me this email and getting me excited lol when I get an email, I think someone good and a movement happen but then it's this damn email again for the second time?

I too got the automated mail just back and my AOR is "Aug 18, 2022". I believe this is just an Error or automated mail and don't think something was happened.

Yeah nothing happened I just get excited when i get an email from them and then it's some stupid message lol

I too got it around 1:50 and my AOR is Aug/22, might be ghost update fingers crossed.
