Employment history with Covid

Hello. I'm currently applying for an IEC visa. In the employment history section should I put in the gap in employment due to COVID? or is that unnecessary? I've worked in a pub for many years so should I put in: Pub 2015 - 2020, unemployed 2020 - 2021, pub 2021 - present? Or just put in : Pub 2015 Present and then explain on my cover letter? Probably a stupid question but I'm a worrier lol. Thanks
