I guess I’m the only one that has only the citizenship test marked as done and all the other status still in progress. Applied on August 4th.

Fingerprints/background check were sent in 2022-04-20 and not even that was changed to Completed.

is there a possible number that I can call to know more about my process?

Update on my end:

Ceremony scheduled for Aug 15.

Quick question though: will I be able to get passport until October?? coz I am travelling.

You can if you have valid travel tickets to show to the passport office.

Fill up the application form now itself and give your guarantor a heads-up. Once you receive your Certificate of Citizenship just get to your closest passport office with the application+copy of your certificate+ copy of your travel ticket and you have a good chance of getting the passport in 4 weeks.

Does anyone know if there is a provision to receive the citizenship certificate on an urgent basis after the ceremony?

you can tell the clerk about the urgency(with reason) while signing the oath form, but I don't think there is anything other else you can do about it.

I am not aware of in-person pickup.
As you are taking oath in SK office (virtual), the certificate would probably be printed and sent from SK.

That being said, you can email IRCC asking how long does it take for them to dispatch the certificate after the oath ceremony, and if there is a process to expedite the print+dispatch process if it is urgently needed.

I have little info about SK office and the timeline looks like
* Application Close - 1 week after receiving the signed oath form
* Certificate Dispatch - 1.5 week after Application Close
* Certificate Received (inside SK) - 1 week after Dispatch via Canada Post.
So this is still within their 2-4 week ETC.

Hey admin there is an error on the spreadsheet for my information. My Oath is on August 11 and not July. I also received my invitation this Thursday (July 28th) and it came from Montreal office. Thank you

I got a passport appointment on August 26 so was hoping to receive the certificate before then. My oath date is August 9.
Plan to travel on September 2 because I haven't seen my family since 2019 and they couldn't get the Canadian visa so we are meeting in Boston instead. I will send an email to IRCC to ask and will also ask after the oath as well. Thank you for your response.
