Friend of mine, landed as a sponsored refugee and got his COPR on landing 2018.
then he married a European spouse at the same year.
The law of that European country gives the citizenship by marriage after 3 years of Marriage.
nowadays, he is preparing his application for Canadian citizenship application…
Is it matter to apply for the European one..?
or it doesn’t matter ?

1/ It doesn't matter. Canada recognizes dual citizenship, some European countries don't allow it.
