I recently applied for my new born child's TRV from UAE. How would I know which would be the corresponding visa office or it is Abu Dhabi by default?

Where did you submit your application

If GC key, then it may go to the nearest visa office

If new portal, it may be within Canada in Ottawa

Thanks for the reply. I did through standard GC key. BTW, what is the "new portal"? I thought there is only one platform for the application to be made.

New Portal was quick

Now everything is averaging at a higher time

However on both places some people get visa in 2-3 weeks while some wait 6+ months. Welcome to randomness !
