Hello House,
I started my PR journey early 2019 via Saks PNP pathway. Since then I have been stuck on the PR stage on waiting for review and finally my PR (Amen).
Now to my issues: I applied as single, no dependent, but now, I actually have a son who’s a year old with my fiancée( no weddings yet)My dilemma right now is how to add them to my PR application. Is it advisable I add then? Is it too late? Should I just continue with my single status and wait till when i finially get my PR to begin to process theirs? please I will appreciate any kind of help or advise on this. Thank you

It's mandatory that you add both of them to the application now. If you fail to do so, you will never be able to sponsor them for PR. It's not too late. Notify IRCC now and go through the steps to add them to your application.

Do not move ahead as a single applicant. Again, if you do that, you'll never be able to sponsor them and will be committing misrepresentation.

Thanks for your reply. Pls as for my fiancé, we are not officially married yet what will I need to submit to IRCC to show my intent for her as my fiancé then?

Have you lived together for at least one year continuously? If so, you are adding her as your common law partner. It doesn't matter to IRCC if you plan to get married or not.

Ok. Thank You for this. But does this mean they will get the PR alongside myself? Or it’s just for documentation purposes?

It's your choice. If you list them as accompanying, they will get PR along with you. If non-accompanying, then they won't. Either way they will both need to complete and pass a medical and your partner will need to provide PCCs.
