A general observation. I might be wrong. Is everyone getting Schedule A request, in general, now? I thought it's only for statutory complications such as previous visa refusal etc.
If your application is more than 1.5 years old, you're almost guaranteed to get it.

Hi everyone!

Is there any method to expedite the background assessment after sending the requested docs?
I mean in my case 40 days passed since IRCC received them and the status of the "Review of additional documents" stage remains N/A. I've no clue when to expect a RFV mail. A month more or what?
May be sending a certain web form could improve the situation? Or the best tactic is just sitting still and waiting?

If they want to call, they will call. Your best bet is having a reference letter with all necessary info on it, but their thinking is that, if you got a reference letter from your employer, then they know you plan on leaving.

Today had an experience with renting a room
Both guys I contacted was Bradders

One guy said exactly like this Brader the apt is in downtown
Second guy doesn't even know basic English
I am surprised to see how this people made a life here without even knowing the language

I saw an ad on khijiji saying punjabi boys only ,I was like wtf this is exactly what I meant by bringing that shit culture of racism from back home.
Yeah, there is a lot of that here in Ontario as well. It goes even further with some being Punjabi girls only. I don’t think I’ve seen much of that from other ethnic groups.

I never thought seriously about this 'brader' inside joke. Is this some Canadian Punjabi accent?

Did you encounter any Jat-Life signs?
