Hi all

I am waiting for my CoPR along with my wife and child. My AOR is 15th feb 2021 and I am an outland fsw applicant.

I am in the midst of uploading a renewed passport of my wife via web form as her old passport is about to get expired - though we were not informed to submit a new one.

Initially when I submitted my proof of funds I did not mention the CAD exchange rate on my account maintenance certificate. Since there is a economic recession going on worldwide my home country’s currency went down and I had to add more money in my account in order to meet the minimum requirement of 22000 cad that I said I will bring to Canada in my initial documents. Now I have maintained additional funds (on top of 22000 CAD) in my account for the past 6 months and yesterday I went to the bank and asked the bank to issue the bank maintenance certificate (for the past 6months) which had the latest conversion rates from my domestic currency to CAD.

My question is should I upload the new account maintenance certificate along with my wife’s new passport copy and attach an explanation letter telling IRCC that since my local currency is devalued I have added more funds and here is the proof and the conversion rate. Or should I just ignore this and submit only the new passport copy!?

Any sort of help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Sure, go ahead and submit the updated bank letter with your spouse's new passport.
