Counting their sweet Euros thinking how easy life is?

What kind of social activity do you need to be entertained? I'd imagine it to not be hard for you and your bf to have fun or at least not be too bored. What Canada offers is you can go out to a bar/pub/club and maybe find some strangers to talk to, or go for a hike if it isn't too cold. There are many concerts too. Don't expect anything too cultural since Canada has no culture. So I don't know, looks quite a bit like what you could find in Europe to me. It's just that chat is better in Canada.
My hometown is interesting and beutiful. (Capital of the country). Loads of things to do, beautiful landscapes, but salary is shit.
i don’t need much to be entertained. I need mountains/ hills. Everything is flat here. Hiking here means walking in the forest. Plenty of forest is near here where I live now but each is the same, flat and boring. No point of tryig another spot because it will look exactly the same.
The city itself which is the second largest here is boring too. Nothing to do, no such thing as nice river bank, historical building, no hill to climb on and enjoy the scenery. outdoor events are rare because the weather is shit and unpredictable. I would be happy lying in the grass and chilling but noo, you can’t do that 99% of the year. There are no festivals in the city, no cheap alcohol, no cold beer that you can buy at the store. I miss buying my cheap beer and cycling in the city on a sunny day. The sittingatcoffebarsallday culture that is present here is not my cup of tea. I am not surprised that people are fit here, I have been living in the gym too because nothing else to do here.

same applies to German cities except Berlin.Boring as hell

People, how long does IRCC take to update upfront re-med? I have already sent 3 webforms so far and the re-med request which they sent will expire tomorrow.

Maybe I should start spamming webform daily.
My medical passed on 18th May'22
ADR submission on 18th May'22
Upfront on 5th Mar'22

I think sending medical copies along with PCC helped to medical passed

Huh. That's nice.

I want to escape my country because I live in places like these:

I, too, wish to wear a sundress and roll around in the grass all day long. And maybe ride my bike with a cold beer in my hand, while still wearing my sundress of course.

I don't know how hell might look like, but that looks like one possible scenario.

if you are in a small market because of your profession
"Small market" is like 70-80% of white collar professions in Canada, those guys under the post are literal engineers. Those who find white collar jobs in Canada outside of compsci/software/IT are extremely lucky.

Got remed yesterday. However, my spouse has had a thyroid surgery due to papillary carcinoma and is on hormone replacement medication (Euthyrox). She had several lymph nodes removed where one of them contained cancer. This happened about half a year ago, i.e. after previous medicals. Should we be concerned about medical admissibility?

I’ve looked up Euthyrox tablet prices in North America and it should be well under $1k per year. She also needs ultrasound and blood tests but these are quite common. That sounds far from excessive demand. However would carcinoma (although cured) raise a red flag? Any action we can take to assure the medical officer?

My consultant advised to get a note citing “cured and no recurrence, no further treatment required” from the surgeon for bringing to remedical. I appreciate advice from anyone who’s has had any doubt on their medical admissibility.

I have been to Delhi, this is what wonders me 1 part of the city looks even worse than this the other part looks great I don't know how that is even possible
You mean like below ? Its called castes or social classs division.

Totally possible and visible around the world, just in different forms based on the country.

But I think problem is more than that ,this is the paradox you have a lot of jobs in torronto ,you Baisically work inorder to pay for housing and taxes ,if that is the case why do you want to live there.
Now Alberta you have limited opportunities (nothing when compared to torronto) but place is livable .I am talking about engineering/supply chain jobs
Decent amount of supply chain jobs in Calgary mate, only issue is that they're mainly oil and gas sector which makes sense but might harm your career in the long run

How do you breathe bro? Are you from Delhi? I felt giddy at the Delhi Airport. I can tolerate hot climate (Being a Chennaite) or snowy places, but bad air....noooo!!!!!

I am fortunate enough to live in green(er) parts of the place.

But yeah, the air does get worse during winters. We keep air filters on during the winters, ACs on during summers. I am extremely fortunate to be able to afford all this, of course.
