Anybody has got their pr card yet? Mine is still pending 4 weeks ago. Just wondering.
Keep checking your mail. Mine is still pending on the portal, although I received my card 6 weeks ago (I got it in the mail about 3-4 weeks after eCOPR).

Hello Friends,
Yesterday my medical exam was submitted to IRCC (after 21 days), but still, my account shows: "We have requested a medical exam".
Is it normal? How can I be sure that the clinic has submitted the result?

Finally after a long wait, received the portal email on 3rd May. Since I was out of Canada (still 2 more months before I return to Canada), I replied accordingly. Its been almost 2 weeks now and still have not received anything back from them. People who were out of Canada and replied accordingly, how long did it take to receive a reply?
FYI, yesterday I replied to the PR confirmation email providing them with my expected return date, and today I received a response, in which they ask me to notify them once I'm back in Canada, so they can send me the PR portal credentials.

It’s been 4 months I got my PR but I still keep checking this thread to see how long this monster IRCC is gonna test your patience. You’ve suffered a lot. There can’t be any compensation for that. All I can is wish you get your PR immediately and curse those responsible to destroy your peace and thousands others. I still can’t forget the pain that I’ve been through while waiting for my PR for over 400 days while seeing others getting it in 40-50 days.

Anyone knows how long it takes the Etobicoke office to issue portal email after the application is approved? I recently came to Canada on visitor visa so my CoR changed to Canada (according to the GCMS notes). Also, the secondary vo changed to Etobicoke, and the case was approved by Ottawa and then assigned to RC-3296 (Etobicoke). It's been three weeks now but I haven't heard anything yet.

“I believe the government must answer for this 2 million backlog. When I was national Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Immigration Section during the pandemic, I attended many liaison meetings and asked about delays given officers were unable to attend at processing centers to work on paper-based files and given visa offices were operating with skeleton staff due to the virus. I finally asked a rather impolite question which was simply about how many officers were actually working and if they were finding solutions so officers could work from home. I remember getting a vague answer about how immigration officers were part of the federal public service and so questions should be directed outside the Department. But then it was revealed that 80% of staff were on leave at the major processing centers for extended periods.”
