Jan 2021 Aor and got schedule A but having an issue filling it....For question 6 my spouse had been denied a US visa previously but the question asks "Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever:" should I tick yes on both MY form and my spouse's form and give details of the rejection or should I just tick yes on my spouse's form only? Also for visa refusal should both questions 6d and 6e be ticked as yes or just question 6d?

Hi everyone!
I got a strange email from CIO/BRDC (IRCC) so I need your advice.

Background of the situation:
- About a month ago, I got an ADR. Later, I uploaded the requested docs directly into my application AND send them to three emails (ircc.cio-brcd.ircc@cic.gc.ca, CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, CPR-Ott-CaseProcessing@cic.gc.ca) - in the ADR there were mentioned no emails I should send my docs to but there was clearly mentioned that I should upload the docs into application and send to (unknown) email. So, since I knew that my application was processed at Ottawa VO, I sent my mail to these 3 emails.
- About a week ago, I got the first email from CIO/BRDC (IRCC) in which they say they rejected my docs because they were > 5 MB in total. So, I resized the docs and sent them back to the sender since there were no *Do not reply to this email* in the letter.
- And today I received an empty email from CIO/BRDC (IRCC). With no signature.

So, my question is: what could it be?

BTW, in the very first letter of CIO/BRDC (IRCC) there was a line:

So, could the empty mail be that reply mentioned in this line?

I did not even notice that and already submit my Schedule A. My spouse got a rejection before but I only mentioned that in my spouse schedule A and not mine. @scylla what should I do? send a webform or just wait for them to get back to me?

Actually, it makes a huge difference for both candidates and the federal government. First, Canadian government will look at the overall market across provinces and fill in the talent gaps. Second, Permanent Residents via NOC draws don't need to get stuck in one province as there is no commitment to the Province as opposed to PNP. The second point is a deal breaker for many who want flexibility. Also, the PNP's actual score are as low as 200 (deducting 600 Provincial points) while NOC draws will get candidates who have high scores, are young, and not boomers. I do believe NOC based codes should be the way forward as it will stop people like the Navinballs and Dkabs who are sitting at home living on Social security.

Positive in my opinion, not necessarily every cab driver would be a financial analyst. NOC specific draws give a chance to high scoring candidates that meet the NOC demand will be selected. [My opinion]

This is something I don't get and would like to discuss. Doesn't personal history pertain to what you were doing as an occupation at the time? That is, if you were unemployed and travelling you MUST put it there, but if you were otherwise employed and took a weekend trip, that shouldn't be included, should it? They would've surely asked for a Travel History form alongside a Schedule A?

That's correct. If you were employed, no travel or vacation period needs to be declared. If you were unemployed, then you need to declare what you were doing during that period (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, in detention, etc.).

In my case, I had overlap between working and studying so I declared both working and studying with overlapping time recorded.

Form and letter. I assume both parents still married or common law, but papa is not going with them on the trip? if this is not the case, then court papers will be required as well.

You didn't get a rejection, so why do you need to mention on yours? You are married to your spouse but still separate entities.

Well I missed reading it but it says on the form "Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever " I just realized it today when someone asked question relating to it. I have mentioned her rejection on her schedule A but not mine.

Now is that okay or do I need to write them a webform?
