Hello,

My score is 6.5 reading, 6.5 speaking, 6.5 writing and 8.0 listening, the overall score is 7.0

Can I apply with this score, or do I need 7.0 in each of the sections?

Eligibility also depends on age, education/ECA, work experience and IELTS. Your IELTS is fine as you need CLB 7 in each section which you do,

What is your NOC? What is your ECA? Age is a factor as you lose points after 30 and you don’t get a lot of points for one year experience. Not sure if you are eligible as you need 67 points to submit a profile and 480 CRS score to be nominated (when draws resume).

My NOC is 4163 Business development officers and marketing researchers and consultants. I have a year and a half of work experience related to this NOC.

I have also 1 year of work experience in the NOC 4164 Social policy researcher, consultant and program officer.

But I am not sure if I can mix these two NOCs when doing the online application.

You need an ECA for your Masters degree for equivalency to Canadian education. If ECA states Masters then you should be eligible. You can combine work experience. Read though the EE eligiblty requirements and make sure you have at least 67 points. You can’t submit a profile without ECA. Your CRS score may not be high enough for invitation.

You need to get ECA first. You need to be nominated by the province based on your CRS score and NOC. You can’t apply for a work permit unless You have a job offer and LMIA (if you don’t have provincial nomination).

ECA is mandatory for EE or any PNP program. If not assessed as Masters then you may not be eligible.

Hi,
You can not apply because your score should be a minimum of 7 in each for applying. IELTS is most important to improve your score and try after getting required numbers it will help you to process your application.

Don’t spam and you are wrong. CLB 7 not IELTS so 6.5 is CLB 7 or 8.
