@legalfalcon, I have applied for Canadian PR under FSW category. My AOR is Feb 2021. At the time of application I had submitted an employment letter from my university on the university letterhead, the letter has all the details about my job roles and responsibilities, date of employment, hours, the email and phone number of the HR representative. But the letterhead does not have the university address on it. Would this be a problem? Should I request for a new letter and send it via webform?
I have also submitted all my pay stubs and tax documents which have the university address on them. Would this suffice or do I need to send a new updated letter with university address?
Your advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

@legalfalcon I recently received Ppr on the 22nd of March 2022, I was also blessed with a baby on the 13th of March 2022. However when we applied my spouse was unaccompanied due to low crs score. Due to this change in my family composition I want to request ircc changes my spouse to accompanied due to the fact I may not be able to cope with 2 children and I need his help in our new home. I have requested my daughter be added to the application. Can I request my husband be changed to accompanied ??? Will our crs score be recalculated??? Really worried as our Crs score will be low nd it might affect my PR. Plz I need your guidance. Thank you @legalfalcon

You can subsequently change your spouse who was un-accompanying to accompanying now. If you do, your CRS will be recalculated. Only changes to family composition after the application has been filed will not impact CRS.

You can sponsor your spouse under the family sponsorship after you land in Canada as a PR.

If you have other supporting documents that you submitted which have an address, it should not be a problem. Also, for renowned and well-known companies, institutions and corporations, the name itself are sufficient.

As long as the letterhead has contact info, such as email, phone number, and where IRCC can reach if required, that would suffice along with other supporting documents such as pay stubs etc.

Hello, @legalfalcon
I have applied for PR under CEC, I am still waiting for portal, only background is left. I am under pgwp and my question is I am planning to travel back home end of next month under trv. In this case, suppose if I get my portal before I travel, can I reply to the portal email after I come back to Canada?or will my trv or work permit get cancelled as soon as I get the portal email (or ecopr)? Because to get the PR card for traveling, it takes time. Please advise. Appreciate your input.

dear @legalfalcon
I am a BCEE-PNP outlander. I got AOR on 23th Jan. the 1st ADR for my spouse's letter of confirming my access to the funds was received on 5th April because my POF is bearing my spouse's name.I submitted this confirming letter on 7th April. Today I got another ADR asking for my CV, the ADR said:"in relation to your masters/phd studies,we require a detailed CV/Resume containing a description of your education, qualifications and experience including the field of study, the name of your thesis supervisor(doctoral advisor)and a list of your publications."
I am worried about this because I have read some posts in this forum within which it is said that you would have been red flagged if you received a ADR for CV like this one,and would be expect a perspective security screening consuming at least 3 months.
Do you have any opinions about my current situation? what stage I am in now?Am I in a deep Security screening and far from PR?
Thank you so much.

If your meds are extended, they will be clearly written on the GCMS notes. Due dates are system-generated dates or dates entered by the officers to re-visit the issue or extend it.

IRCC asks for a detailed CV when you have an advanced degree in science to determine the extent of your research and knowledge and it could be a security issue for Canada. This is normal SOP.

Not sure what you have read. What you should read is IRCC's processing manuals and not random comments.

Thank you for the reply. Please could you also let me know whether there are any advantages/PR card validity or anything if I renewed my passport before I do my landing. I will have about 6 months validity on my passport after landing and would prefer not to have my passport renewed before travelling if it wouldn't make any difference. Appreciate your advice on the matter.
@legalfalcon please could you advise on the above? Thank you.

Hi,
I submitted my PR application in Nov 2020 post-ITA. I received ADR on 17 March 2022 and submitted documents on 14 April 2022, along with LoE for PCC which was under process. Today I submitted PCC via Webform (the old version as the new version was showing an error). However, I did not receive an automated confirmation email after webform submission. How do I make sure PCC has reached IRCC? Please help.
Thanks in advance

@legalfalcon : I have received a remedical request (IMM1017E) which I have to complete within thirty days. I have recently changed my address within the same country and informed IRCC as well (although informing IRCC about an address change within the same country is not really required). The medical examination document contains my old address under the client information but I do not stay there anymore. Will this discrepancy be an issue for IRCC or the panel physician? (Last time, the panel physician had sent me the medical report over email).
