Hey yes. And well I don’t know if this is going to be another bout of waiting. But I raised a web form in January asking what’s going on and they replied after 12 days inviting me to add my spouse since I got married while application is in progress. I did inform them in March 2020 immediately after getting married. Though my wife is Outland. They told me I have the option to add her then or wait after I get mine. I decided to wait. Then July 2nd 2021, they asked for my marriage cert. since then I never heard from them. Sent web form, used Mp and didn’t get reasonable answer. So when they replied my recent webform inviting me to add my wife and saying if they make a decision before I add her it won’t go through. So I was just gathering the documents to add her, and was actually going to submit it today and I received email from them yesterday 16th Feb asking me to update additionally family info, Background declaration, then travel history form and a new letter of employment . So I am going to do that today hopefully they don’t keep me waiting again
Hey sorry I missed this question. MPs are members of the federal legislative parliament. They represent each political constituency. So usually they won’t speak for you if you don’t live within their jurisdiction

Hope this time it works for you. Mine AOR is February 2020. So obviously gone through medical which i passed… did biometrics…and now it seems eligibility is passed background check going on and security not started it has been in this same situation since many many months now. It’s my 27th month now. For 1 year I was on my maternity leave here in canada as I haven’t left canada since past 5 years. So my AR December 2019 and my son was born in Canada in December 2020. I haven’t updated any information about him in my application as I have a immigration consultant who is quite positive that we don’t have to report anything about his birth to IRCC has he was born here and hence not a dependent. I now doubt if IRCC expect me to update that as they probably can see I was on maternity leave for a year as I was getting all my maternity benefits form the canada government and now child benefits too. He has canada birth certificate and passport too. I can produce all proof however i never did. But now I doubt if that’s what is causing the delay. May be, may be not….
To everyone with a 2019 AOR, please update if you have seen any progress. 2 weeks ago, they asked me to update my contact info, schedule A and additional family information forms, and recent employment letter. I did that on 18th February, hoping it’s a good sign.

I received my PR approval letter yesterday… now waiting for the ID and Password to login to the PR portal for further process…. Good luck to u and everyone waiting…
Oh congratulations. Did they asked you to update anything before making a decision? And if they did what exactly did they ask, was it through email they contacted you or phone? I am just frustrated and tired of unending wait. Mine seems to be the longest now. Since May 2019. Will complete 3 years this May
Actually they didn’t asked me for any update the last thing what i did for my PR process was the medical ( march 2020) which I passed in April 2020 after that I heard nothing…. But that being said my work permit had expired on mid January 2022 so I had applied for extension in January with the employer letter, payroll etc so may be they used it for reference but not sure.
So for me it took 27months…. Let me add that I had sent webforms and for GCMS notes recently and in January twice I emailed PM may be all that helped…
