I need help. My daughter is PR. She took the citizenship test months ago and passed. She is an international student. She went back to school in Brazil. Yes to qualify for citizenship she needs to be compliant with her RO for PR. How long since she has been out of Canada? Did she leave right after applying for citizenship? How many days did she have when applying for citizenship?

She needs to appeal. The PRTD refusal triggers the process to revoke her PR status. You need to appeal this refusal in order for her to keep her PR status and qualify for citizenship.

Her citizenship oath is going to be put on hold until this is resolved. She needs to win the appeal in order to be able to take the oath and become a citizen.
