one concern that i have is I didnot know that everyone sends their application to the Quebec Address... I actually sent it to their Mississauga address mentioned in the application form which said for people from British columbia needs to send to that address as I live in BC.
I am not sure if I did right or not.. as here I havent heard from anymore sending to that address..
I don't think everyone should send their application to Quebec. It clearly says that for applications from BC, you should send the non-courier mailing address is the Passport Office in Mississauga. I am also in BC and sent the applications to Mississauga on Feb 28 (delivered on Mar 2), and I am trying to wait patiently for the bureaucratic machinery of the government to do what they say they would do! :)

You are good. Applicants from different provinces send to different offices. It may seem everyone is sending their application to Quebec, but this is only because the majority of applicants are from central Canada.

I mailed my passport application Feb 7th, it was received in Gatineau on Feb 10th, my credit card was charged on March 10th. I have a couple questions..1)If my credit card was charged can I assume there are no problems with the application? 2)How long after your credit card was charged, will you receive your passport? I live in rural Saskatchewan if that makes a difference ‍♀
What office charged your CC?

Not if I've done everything that's required of applicants with no guarantor, which is to have a commissioner of oath sign a statutory declaration and provide two additional references (4 references in total). I'm waiting to hear of the formal reason if I'm denied so I can take the appropriate legal measures.
I read your story and I have to agree knowing someone for 5+ years doesn’t always means they would be your guarantor for passport. I went to one of my colleague at work who I know for more than 5 years, he was not comfortable signing for my wife and kid because he doesn’t know them. Surprisingly, my boss was happy signing for my whole family. You just have to ask.

I hope you get your application processed soon.

It

It showed up as SC Passport Varennes 2
I think it means your application is being processed in QC. The mailing from QC to SK shouldn't be that long with Xpress post. Your passport printing should be soon based on the normal timeline progress, and maybe already mailed out. If you don't receive it this week, I suggest to call them next week.

9-10 days after receiving the tracking number? I thought tracking numbers are generated when they send out the documents. Can you track the documents online, or they are still inactive?
Yeah thats what they said. It shows it has been sitting in Ottawa for 2 days

At least you can track it. I don't think it will take that long. Again how did you get the tracking info? By a reply to an update request, or you called them? If by a reply to an update request online, when did you send your request?
