Self-employed in new IRCC portal

Hi, Kindly please advise,

My father earlier has worked as a truck driver and since Dec 2020 he quit that job and started taking care of his own agricultural land? So in that case should I put retire? If am indicating retirement because I can't find any option like self-employed can I still explain in a cover letter that he takes care of his own land? Kindly please confirm! it's urgent!

Thanks. Also, If I choose the agriculture category and then in the employer's name will it be OK to write self-employed as it is a free text? Because I don't want officer to have an idea that my father is not doing anything back home.
