Overweight can be a reason for refusal?

Hello,

I am applying for work visa and I have a big concern about weight. I am Extremely obese but I don’t have any medical conditions. I am able to do physical work for like 8-10 hours without any issues, but then my weight is the only thing to lose my confidence for visa medical process.

I am 6.3ft with total weight of 170kg.

It shouldn’t be an issue if you don’t have medical conditions. Have you had your medical? That will determine if further evaluation is required. What type of work permit?

Sorry for late reply, I haven’t processed with medical exam yet. I am waiting for job acceptance process. However I can get one before hand if needed from my GP. Let me know thank you!

Sorry for late reply, I haven’t processed with medical exam yet. I am waiting for job acceptance process. However I can get one before hand if needed from my GP. Let me know thank you!

What country are your from? What is your job? You might not need a medical. If your GP is an approved panel physician for IRCC then you can go ahead. The list of approved physicians is on the website.

I am applying from Mumbai,India. I am a front office Clark in hotel industry. My GP is not a approved one.
