Wrong entry date in Citizen application form

Hello everyone

I posted my citizen application in November and in ecas it is 'in progess' since Jan 18, 2018.

I just realized that in one of my entries from USA to Canada, I have mentioned incorrect date.. Actual entry date was 5th July 2016, but I entered 4th July 2016 because my passport carries stamp from Canadian Border Security that 4th July 2016.

When I checked my I94 record in US site, it says departed date is 5th July, 2016. I remember that It was midnight between 12 -2 AM of 5th July 2016. Not sure if this is causing delay to my processing.. I did go with the date stamped on my passport but my I94 travel history is showing 5th, which I think is the correct.

Please advise if I can contact CIC to correct or do anything to avoid unexpected scenarios.

Nothing major, since it's just 1 day difference... assuming you have many days cushion. These small issues are normally clarified during the interview after the test.

Thanks a lot, For the Reply. It's almost 3 months since 'in progress' state in ecas. I know it's waiting game, but cant keep my mind out from thinking about reasons for delay in test invite.

Send this update via IRCC webform and don't wait for the interview to notify them of this error. Then, you should be good.
