Hi there,

I was reviewing my calculator sheet and noticed that I entered a wrong date. of absence, instead of entering 2009 I put 2010. It doesn't affect my physical presence period at all. In this case, what should I do ? Call CIC and ask them to change it for me ? Will they ask me to send another sheet ? Do you think this will retard , even more my process ? I applied in August 2012 ?

Thanks,

If it has no impact on your 1095 days of physical presence (e.g you had almost nil absences in the 4 years) then best to deal with it at test when being interviewed and the officer is reviewing your stamps. Out of interest is this an entry date? If it is surely it impacts on the absence days. What is the shortfall relative to the 1095 days?

Hi Msafiri,

No, it doesn't impact my physical presence. It was a 3 days trip to USA in 2009, but instead of putting 2009 I put 2010. The stamps say 2009. I think I will just deal with it during the interview. It was just a mistype. I have been already waiting for 16 months.
