WP about to expire and going home

This is regarding my friend's husband.

His WP will expire on January. He applied for new LMO last Oct. And still waiting for it. Then he'll apply for a new wp.

Now, they are on their way to Philippines and will be staying there until Dec. 16. As soon as they arrive there, my friend's husband will apply for a visa to able to come back here in caNada.

My question is, is it ok to apply for a visa even if the wp is less than 3 months valid!? Or as long as the wp is still valid he'll be ok?

My suggestion to you just wait for expire date of wp and before 25 day of expire of wp apply wp renewal online with in Canadajust make good eexplanation letter that why you want to renew ur wp and apply it one of my friend recently got wp renewed with out any Lmo. In your case you already apply Lmo so just attche proof of submition of Lmo to your application.
