I am in Vancouver, Canada on a student visa. I will be graduating in April 2017 and will apply for a 3 year work permit (eligible through my grad course).
Currently, I am a co-founder of a startup here which is registered in the province of BC. Through this, I will be eligible to apply for a start-up visa during March-April 2017.
So I can either choose to go ahead with either. As an individual, the startup visa sounds like the fastest route to obtaining a PR. However, I am getting married in June 2017 to my fiance in India. Our plan up until now was me being on a work visa and sponsoring her as my spouse. This way she gets a work visa for the same duration as mine.
Now with the recent news of me being eligible for a startup visa, I need advice on how will the startup visa be different from a work visa with respect to me sponsoring my future wife for her visa?
