Where to send application after First stage approval? Local Visa Office or....

Hi

I'm a temporary foreign worker (IT worker) in Toronto, Canada. Recently I have been offered a permanent position in my company and I'll be applying under Category 2 for Skilled Worker class.

I want to know that if my application gets approved for the first stage where should I send my application? To my local Visa office i.e my country of citizenship
or Buffalo, NY.

I have heard that if we send applciation to Buffalo and if called for an interview it might be difficult to get US visa on that basis. And if for some reason I'm
not able to appear for the interview the application will be rejected.

Since I'm living in Toronto can I give my mailing address to local visa office for Toronto, Canada?

What is the best option. Please advise.

I suggest Buffalo as you are residing in Canada. Take other suggestions too.

You need to send the application to Buffalo. That is where they expect you to send it. As far as interview is concerned, you should get the visa if you show your proper documents at the U.S. - Canadian border and explain the reasons as well.
