I think it can be a double edge knife... Obviously the country needs to search for what is best, and immigrating a person into a laborer saturated area would obviously affect Canadians negatively, where as immigrating a person into an area with high demand would do the opposite...

The problem comes in making sure the person in charge is doing a good Job.

On a side note, I think this should only apply to skilled workers, PNP etc...

But not to refugees or family sponsorships. I think keeping a family together is very important, regardless of the profession (if any) of a spouse, for example.

It will only apply to skilled workers and PNP, will not effect family class.
