My in laws got their Supervisa (Parents / Grandparents). Now they want to go and get driver license but from the ICBC are asking for a IMM1442. They didn't accept the stumped passport and the approval letter of the supervisa.
I called at the customs in Victoria BC and they told me that in order to get that paper my parents in law have to cross again the boarder. So we went to the boarders but the officer there refused to release that paper (because is for the ICBC) . He told us that we have to do an application.
I've searched in the internet and I found that we have to do the application IMM5009.
Does anyone know if this is correct ?
If this is correct I have some questions
1st : In the Part B Question 4 is asking which document we want for Verification of Status.
I believe that i have to check the "Permit to Come into or Remain in Canada - Temporary Resident Permit"
Do we have to check and the box of the Visitor Record ?
