Use of Police certificate issued for US authorities for Canadian PR application

Hi All,

I have previously applied for USA green card and obtained police clearance certificates from the previous countries I lived. All police certificates states that the certificates are issues for US authorities. Now I am applying for the Canadian PR and I have to submit the police certificates.

Anyone here gone through the same situation?

Do you have any idea whether I can use the same certificates for PR application even it states US authorities only?

Hi,
You need to get a new PCC, if you use PCC issued for the US in the Canadian PR application, your file will be refused as incomplete.
