Hello everyone.
I am not certain which part of the forum this should be posted but i will try here since there have been many helpful people giving advice in the past.
My wife who has just completed her PR application (submitted in Sept 2011 - received October 2012) will be traveling to Asia soon and she will be transiting in the US. I know that since 2003 the US will require a transit Visa for someone who is a citizen of Indonesia (even though she is now a Canadian PR) and that an interview is required.
What i have not been able to find out is how or when an interview is scheduled. Do they post a waiting list to give you an idea of time? She has filled out the DS-160 online and received the confirmation. At some point she will be contacted with an interview date or must she somehow initiate an interview?
