US work permit expiring but online TRV application under processing at NewYork

My Canada work permit (TRV) application filed online with NewYork consulate on July 24, 2013 is currently under processing.

My current USA work permit expires on October 29, 2013. I will be leaving to India on Oct 25, 2013. Based on a recent response that I received from newyork consulate, my application processing is likely to be completed by November first week, 2013. Do I must withdraw my TRV application before I leave USA or, may I wait for the approval and get my passports stamped while I am in India?

PLEASE HELP.

If you applied through the NYC office, you cannot get it stamped in India - it would have to be done in the US.

Hello,

CIC website is just suggesting rough time, not giving specific information to individual case. In his case, most likely he got response from New York visa office regarding his application.
