Urgent CEC Combined Work Experience in Two Different NOC Code

Hi everyone,
I remember somewhere in the IRCC website saying Minimum of 1 year of Work Experience under the CEC
must be from the SAME NOC code.
I worked for 7 months ( Nov 2016-Jun 2017) as a Mortgage broker NOC 1114 . 35hours/week
and 6 months Jun 2017-now as a Credit Supervisor NOC 1212. 35 hours/week

The EE still rewards me 1 year of Work Experience. Is that unusual since the combined work experience must be from the same NOC code?
Please help me with this. I truly truly appreciate any feedback. Thank you so much everyone. Merry Christmas to you and your family

Hi luckyboy1080

I am in a similar position and would love to know how your application worked out? I would like to apply CEC EE. I have a cumulative year of work experience in Canada, but it is in 2 NOC different codes (both in a skilled profession).

I understand that I can open a profile and apply with different NOC codes that make up a year, but I am curious to know if you were awarded the 40 points for your Canadian work experience (even though they were in 2 different NOC codes)? Or do you only get the points if the work experience is in one NOC code?

My issue is that I will only get over 440 points if I get the 40 for my Canadian work experience (I hope that is the case!)

Would love any insight you can give!

Thank you SO much!

Hope they help you in finding the answers... please also wait for DelPiero's feedback...

In addition please make sure your documentation with regards to claiming the CEC points is rock solid and it meets the others criteria mention in the CEC guidelines

Thank you so much @DelPiero07
One more question then I have all the information I need. I had 3 weeks unemployed gap between the 2 jobs. This shouldn't matter should it, as the work experience for CEC EE can be non-continuous?
That's right, work experience under the CEC program need not be continuous.
