Hi,

I am planning to make the appointment for medical a bit before i get ITA. Any experiences with that?

I know that it's valid for 12 months. Since I have a valid job offer, I believe my points will be enough after I submit EE profile.

Thank you!

I was in a similar situation and did my medicals also weeks before iTA.

No problem at all. Just tell the panel physician that it is an upfront medical and make sure they choose Non-EDE Worker category.

Other than that, there are absolutely no problems with an upfront exam.

After ITa, just scan your emedical sheet from the doctor and submit it with your application.

Hi ,

I applied to sponsor my parents.

- I received the letter of acceptance as a sponsor!

- Since I live in Quebec. We sent application for CSQ to Quebec immigration along with the letter from CIC ( it should be processed soon).

My parents are presently in Canada visiting me on a tourist visa .

My question is:

Can they go ahead with a medical exam before receiving instruction from CIC (upfront medical exam )- since there is a clinic next to me that uses e-Medical system ??

Or would that interfere with the application.

Thank you kindly.

Hello friends,

I have just applied for express entry online on 25 nov under individual capacity n would like to do upfront medical test in mumbai before i get my ITA. I think its possible as per GIC website. However the clinics here in mumbai say they cant do without ITA. A clinic in delhi says they can do it. Can someone plz clarify on this with justification or experience.
Thanks

Hello,

Yes. in some places they want to see your ITA before they do the medicals. Happened to me. I was able to take the medicals only after i got an ITA.

I guess the people talking of upfront medicals are mostly inside Canada.

Nishant.
