Q. I'm about to apply for spousal common law sponsorship but when i entered Canada I mentioned on my work permit application that I was single when in fact I was married. My spouse and I were not on talking terms and separated for almost 6 years so I just figured that it would be easier to file as “single” , all my documents as well as my passport is single too and with that I didnt declared my daughter as well as i first thought it'll be a conflict if they'll ask her birth certificate (stupid mistake ever!) Now i am in a common-law relationship in which we are filing our application before end of this year. I want to include my daughter on my application. How i will explain that i made a wrong misrepresentation on my previous application. I want to correct this mistake that I made, and hopefully there is a way as I would like to stay here in Canada with my boyfriend as we are having a baby soon and get my daughter in the future. Guys, i need you're advise. Thanks! :(

You need to be completely honest about the misrepresentation on your PR application. Once CIC finds out about the misrepresentation they may revoke your work visa and ask you to leave Canada, however i'm not sure of the precedents for this kind of thing.

Also you should be able to have your common-law partner sponsor you and your daughter for PR, but due to the previous misrepresentation you should prepare to have a longer processing time than normal.
