There is this question using Studio Tax:

Have you become a resident at any point in the past year?

I have been a worker for the last four years and I just became a PR in September.

So.... from my understanding I should answer "no", as I was a temporal resident and now I am a permanent resident. Am I right?

They are referring to physical residency, the date you moved to Canada. It is not the date that you became a PR.

Yes, it means resident for tax purposes. You were already resident for tax purposes in the previous years
