Here is my situation,
I would be applying Open work permit for my spouse in a day or two. But the processing time isn't showing much improvement due to Covid. Its 26 weeks.
I would be getting enough CRS points in a month to be eligible for receiving ITA for a PR. I intend to apply PR for wife and kid, and they stay with me here.
If you could help my queries that would be helpful. Any other inputs considering my situation are welcomed and appreciated.
1. If Open work permit application is still in progress by the time PR application is submitted then would be it have impact to WP/ PR. Will there be any rejections?
2. Do i need to submit any Letter of explanation in WP application that the intention is to stay long term and PR would be applied in a month?
