Should I renew my passport

i applied for citizenship last year July but they rejected saying not enough documents .. I reapplied and sent around feb 8, received confirmation on April 1st.

I have a trip around aug 2nd until 23rd. My passport is valid until September .. and I need to apply for Australia visa as well

Should I reapply for passport renewal or do you think There is a chance of citizenship grant including new Canadian passport receipt by that time

Timeline looks like lottery this days, so maybe good idea you check the trackers in the forum and compared your local office timeline, but still many factors can affect your process.. I will said renew it. To be safe

Based on current processing times it is not impossible but highly unlikely you will be a citizen in August. You should renew.
