Renewal of PR card- technical Problem

Hi,

When I apply for the PR card renewal, do my passport need to be valid for Six months beyond the DATE of application? Because, when I apply for PR card renewal my passport will be only 4 months away from expiry, and to renew the passport (A per rules from my country) I need copy of PR card or at least that I have paid my fees for renewal.

Since, my PR card has expired and I am waiting for 730 days to complete, I will not have valid PR card to renew my passport. And if renewal of PR card needs passport to be valid beyond six months then, I am stuck. Please let me know if to renew the PR card, one needs Passport Valid Six months beyond date of application?

To make it easier to respond are you ok to re-phrase your query by stating:

1. When do you get your 730 days (month/year will suffice)

2. When does your passport expire (month/year will suffice)...if same month/year as 1 which event is earlier?

You may be needlessly worrying.
