I have received offer from a reputed university in Canada for a one year MBA for 2015 intake. They considered my GMAT score (640) and IELTS (8.0) plus work exp for granting admission.
However, when I recently shifted job 5 months back one of my previous employers strangely declared me as absconding. Whereas, I have all documents, relieving letter experience certificate etc. with sign and stamp, I even have receipt of my provident fund which I withdrew after leaving that company.
After leaving that company I took a gap of around 7-8 months for preparing for GMAT and applying for courses etc. Now when I found another job, I was shocked that previous employer declared me absconding.
Does Visa consul go back to companies for a background check?
If, Yes then what can I do to prove myself right coz it is not face to face interview in Canadian embassy where I can get a chance to explain.
Please help me out, I really do not want to let go of this opportunity.
Thanks
