PR Obligantions under new law??

Hi,

Regarding the new law which came into effect, increasing the requirements of PR's to 4 out of 6 years. Just wanted to know that once it comes into affect, will it apply for older permanent residents as well (i.e immigrants who became PR's before this law was even passed?)

That law is nothing to do with your PR residency obligation requirements. It's for citizenship eligibility, and it will affect everyone, regardless of when they became a permanent resident.
