PR Card Renewal Application Submitted Online = week of 27th November 2023
PR Card Arrival in Mail = week of 4th December 2023
One day after application submission:
- Return Reason changed to Incomplete Application, but no email why and what I needed to do
- View button was disabled
- No AOR
- Cannot link application to IRCC portal
Physical Presence within Canada during application is just slightly above 730 days, but continuous stay with proof (rental agreement, CRA notice of assessments, utility bills, paystubs).
Before I submitted the PR Renewal application, this forum suggested to add a buffer of weeks if not months. It's overly cautious which is fair. Ultimately, no one really knows what will happen as each application is treated by its own case merits. So, I just bit the bullet and submitted as soon as I had few days buffer.
Lesson learned: I understand that the website is very confusing and open to interpretation. And there are so many conflicting feedback in this forum. But if you just follow the requirements (in this case 730 days minimum stay with proof), you should be alright.
