I am presently in Brampton, having completed my Masters from Kingston. I received a one years work permit after completing my one years Masters degree. I worked in Ontario for the past one year and applied for the OINP based on my Masters degree. I received my OINP nomination three days before my work permit expired. However, as I had already applied for an extension of my work permit, I am presently on an implied status, my work permit expiring two days ago. As I have an implied status in Canada till I receive a reply regarding my work permit extension and also have an OINP nomination, can I apply for my Canadian PR right now? Or should I wait for a reply regarding my work permit application and then apply from India or Canada based on weather my application gets accepted or not.
