Hey

I just received a letter requesting PCC. I have prepared for them long time ago. It seems the oldest PCC is back to June 24, 2009. So I am wondering if it is still valid by the time I send to the visa office ( about the end of December ?)

Thanks a lot,

I am quoting from Instruction Guide [IMM EG7000]

You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO.

So if the oldest PCC is Jun 2009 and you have applied before August 2009 to CIO you are still good.

Thanks Ankit

I think I applied on Oct, 2008 and received the AOR on Feb, 2009. The file was transferred to NY on August 11. On Dec 3rd, I received a letter requesting PCCs. So what you meant is my PCCs are valid, right?

Thank you very much,
