I have applied for an open work permit for Iranian citizens. The deadline for submitting the applications is February 28th.
The problem is that my passport is valid until January 2025. But the work permit has the validity period of 3 years.
Do I still have the chance to get approved for the work permit?
I know that I can renew the passport within 2 months.
Can I fill out a web form declaring that renewal period is 2 months and explain the situation and ask for a 3 year work permit and then submit the passport after receiving it?
Any help would be appreciated.
