I thought I would share my good news with you all.

I got my passport back from LA, with the immigrant visa!

Here is my timeline:

Japanese citizenship/living in the US with H1B

App: March 2005
AOR: April 2005
transfer to LA: February 2006
IA: June 2006
Medical: June 2006
FBI & Japanese police certificate: August 2006
PPR: September 5, 2006
Received Passport: September 20, 2006

I am planning to move next month. Thank you for everyone who has shared the experience with their process.
