Off campus work permit

I am an International student in Vancouver. I currently have a student visa with a work on-campus permit. My school is small so they don't have any work. My question is: Can I apply for a work-off campus permit? What are the requirements for it?

As long as it is an eligible institution and you have attended for at least 6 months and have passing grades you can apply for an off-campus work permit. Read the instructions. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/work-students.asp
