No Oath whatsoever

Hi ever1,

Basically we as a family made an application for Canadian citizenship in june 2008 and wrote a test in august 2009. Unlucky my mother failed the test and since then we all are stuck. It's going to be a year now since we 5 members of the family waiting for oath. Recently we contacted CIC and sent them a letter to exclude my mother from the file.

Any1 knows how long will it take now and roughly when we will hear anything from cic for oath ?

If you pass the test, you usually get called for oath in 2-4 months but if you fail, an interview will be scheduled and that can easily take a year. Hopefully you will hear from them soon and get your oath with or without your mother.
