i got my pr visa and its valid till feb 2011. my wife is pregnant and she is expecting in jan 2010. my question is;

1. should i land in alberta and give birth to baby there and come back. or should i give birth to baby in India and later try to sponsor the baby. i hear somewhere that , if i did not land and dont have pr card , i can add the new born to my pr visa and then land.

you are right. if you did not land and dont have pr card. If you give birth in Alberta, you will save the trouble for sponsoring it later on.

i would like to know if we give birth before landing can we add the baby to our pr visa . or we have to apply all the way again for the baby
