Name split on citizenship certificate after oath before canadian passport

Hi I know this question has been asked lots of time.

Right now my name is on all canadian documents Pr card etc

First name......./
Last name D..... Singh

However I wanted to split like this on my first canadian passport after citizenship ceremony.

First name D......
Last name Singh

I would be really appreciated for all responses

Is there any way I can ask the passport office if they will help me in any way such as name change

Can you please share your experience? I am in the exact same situation and thinking if i should change it before applying for citizenship or after.

I asked CIC call center several times regarding that name change. I am in the same situation as well. CIC will only print the name just the way it is printed on our current original passport. If we have no first names, then we have no first names on our PR and citizenship forms. That's it. I know that some provinces allow name-change for permanent residents. But here in Quebec, only the Canadian citizens can change the name . So I have no choice but to wait until i get the citizenship to change my name by splitting.
