Hello,

CEC asked me to provide my marital status and my spouse's family information. My husband is a Canadian citizen and he came to Canada with his family when he was 5 years old. Apparently, all his family is in Canada now. If I put his family information, I need to give proof of his family, like his birth certificates (must contain the names of the parents) or a copy of his brother's Canadian Citizenship or Canadian immigration status document.

It is really hard and almost impossible to find those documents for each of his family members (He has a really big family) and I have no intention to use his family to get any points. I was already got drawn, so my score is high enough now. Is it ok if I put "no" to the question "Does your spouse have a relative who is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada?" Because as long as I put yes, I need to give supporting documents. But if I put no, am I misrepresentation?

Thanks for the help!
