medical doc with IMM0008 form

CIC asked me IMM0008 and the next day they sent medical doc. now my understanding is that when they sent medical doc then there is no need for IMM0008 or any other docs, because everything os checked and cleared that y they sent the medical doc

is it true, or they can check background and other docs after medical

This question has been asked here a hundred times. Nobody knows for sure, but a general consensus is that most checks are done before medicals, but sometimes they do it after medicals as well.
