I'm looking for a new employer right now and I still need 9 more months to finish the 24 month-requirement for LCP. So I started searching/sending applications for live in caregiver positions posted on job bank. But my problem is, almost all the employers/agencies who tried to hire me asked me to move right away to the employer's home while the paper works are being process. And I can't risk of working with any of them without an LMO and work permit. They also told me that this is how the system works. That nannies move to the new employer's home right away while waiting for LMO and work permit. I'm a bit disappointed because of this reason. I just wanted to work legally and I don't want to jeopardize what I started. Please, I need your advice. God bless.
